Salut à tous,
Et voilà les minima belges pour Barcelone décidés! Et comme d'habitude c'est la même chose, ils ont diminué ces minima de manières importantes... En ce qui concerne le 1500m, les minima européens sont de 3'42"00 et en Belgique 3'39"30!!!! Je sais qu'il y a des discussions entre les 2 ligues belges et que la question budgétaire intervient. Pour les athlètes francophones l'ADEPS intervient pour tous tandis que du côté de la VAL le Bloso n'intervient que dans certaines conditions et la Val doit donc payer pour ceux qui ne sont pas dans ces conditions. La LBFA serait partisante des minima européens mais sous la pression de la Val qui ne veut pas payer pour ses athlètes, les minimas sont toujours beaucoup plus difficiles à atteindre.
Lorsqu'on regarde les minima qu'ils demandent, il n'y aura qu'une petite 10aine d'athlètes qui arriveront à faire ces minima sans trop de soucis. Quant aux autres, ils devront s'arracher pendant toute la saison comme pour Berlin afin de les atteindre et arriver complètement cuits à Barcelone. Je ne sais pas quel est le meilleur calcul...envoyer un petit nombre d'athlètes et ne pas avoir de retour médiatique important donc moins de sponsors attirés ou alors envoyer une belle délégation qui apportera une image positive de ce sport et du niveau belge? C'est du marketing de base mais apparemment ils n'ont pas compris! Kim Gevaert et Tia Hellebaut ne sont malheureusement plus là et il faut investir maintenant dans ceux qui restent. Il y a bien sûr les coureurs de 400m qui sont là et qui vont certainement faire quelque chose mais il y en a d'autres derrière aussi!
Il s'agit ici d'un championnat d'Europe et non du monde et la Belgique peut y jouer un rôle certain mais donnez la chance aux gens d'y aller!!!
De toute façon l'objectif cette saison sera de descendre sous les 3'40 et essayer de se qualifier mais je ne vais pas me casser la tête avec ces minima sinon on risque d'être déçu. Je vais faire le max et je pense pouvoir y arriver mais si le seul but est de se qualifier et après faire de la figuration alors ok. Mais en tant qu'athlète, on a envie de donner le meilleur de soi et de montrer ce que l'on sait faire au niveau international. Dans ces conditions nous aurons peut-être pas mal d'athlètes présents mais qui ne pourront pas passer un tour car épuisés par leur saison de chasse aux minima. Cela fait des années que c'est comme ça et les dirigeants qui sont en place ne risquent pas de changer leur fusil d'épaule.
N'en parlons plus en concentrons nous sur le plus important qui est l'entraînement. Ces dernières semaines se passent vraiment bien et le travail commencent à se spécifier. On passe de fractionnés très longs à des distances plus courtes mais toujours à vitesses sous-maximales.
Le prochain objectif sera le 1500m indoor du 19/12 qui sera un petit test de forme.
